Campaign to make the world cleaner initiated by Australia in 1993 was launched globally in the third week of September. Ever since, the campaign has become an annual important international environmental event, attracting the participation of 35 million volunteers in over 120 countries worldwide.The campaign is the occasion of gathering businesses, community groups, schools, countries and individuals to participate in program activities and environmental protection.

Yesterday (15-9), in Lai Thieu Town, Thuan An, thousands of people from Thuan An and surrounding areas attended the Ky Yen festival at Tan Thoi spiritual temple. The festival includes many staid rituals such as open-gate, greeting Tan Thoi temple gods, quiet-seeking prayers, and activities of ancient opera.

 Provincial Steering Board for Voluntary Blood Donation, on Sept.14, forwarded the 2nd conference honoring outstanding collectives and individuals in the voluntary blood donation campaign between 2008 and 2010.

On Sept.9, United International Pharma Co.Ltd. in the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park, in collaboration with Tan Binh commune’s health station in Tan Uyen district, donated 160 gifts worth VND950,000 each, including medicine and rice, to poor households in the commune.
