To mark the 9th provincial Party Congress and the 11th national Party Congress and the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Ha Noi, the provincial People’s Committee will hold an exhibition on Binh Duong socio-economic achievements at the local stadium from Sept. 27 to Oct. 1.

Following State’s and Party’s policy on care for the poor, in the past 10 years, Thanh Le Commerce, Import and Export Company (Thanh Le EXIM) has donated greatly to funds for the poor to help them stabilize living conditions. This state-own company of 4 subsidiaries and 827 employees is considered as an example in the movements.

Reports of a conference summing up health insurance in the whole population in 2009 of Ben Cat District showed that 9,250 people in 15 villages and towns have participated in voluntary health insurance. The number out-scored the projected targets at 122.2% of provincial level. In the whole district, 33 of 38 schools have seen 20,982 students pay for voluntary health insurance. The payments are 30% supported by State’s budget.

Phu Giao district’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has just donated 86 scholarships worth VND200,000 each to poor-but-excellent pupils. The total cost of these scholarships was funded by the Trade Unions of Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Co. and Thien Phat Loc Construction Mechanism Co.

 A Chinese delegation comprising 65 outstanding young people from 53 Chinese ethnic groups has been in Vietnam for one week taking part in cultural exchanges.

He was satisfied with the coloured lights around Sword Lake that make it more beautiful. He suggested highlighting the nearby scenery, including The Huc Bridge, Ba Kieu Temple, Turtle Tower as well as trees near the lake.
