The effective model has been expanding across district. To help poor members escape poverty, the district women union’s affiliates acted as a guarantee for their 909 members to enjoy loans worth about VND12bil from the Bank for Social Policies,  and for 50 others to borrow loans from the Fund for poor women and so on.

Thuan An District People’s Committee has just summed up administrative reforms in the locality for the period of 10 years. During the time from 2001 to 2010, administrative reforms have actively transformed to contribute to success of socio-economic targets in the district. Late Oct.2, Vietcombank’s Binh Duong Branch (Vietcombank Binh Duong) awarded 50 scholarships worth between VND350,000 and VND450,000 each to poor-but-excellent pupils at 31 primary, junior high schools in TDM town.

Early Oct.1, VietinBank’s Binh Duong Branch (VietinBank Binh Duong) visited and presented gifts worth VND8.1mln to 81 elderly people living in provincial Center for the Disabled and Lonely Old People on the occasion of International Day for the Elderly.

A delegation led by provincial Fatherland Front Committee Chairwoman Dao Ngoc Nu yesterday visited and presented gifts worth VND800,000 each to six centenarians in Thuan An district, including Vo Thi Vong, Thong Thi Muoi in Lai Thieu township; Nguyen Thi Tep, Lai Vinh Quang in An Thanh township; Nguyen Thi Xanh in Thuan Giao commune; Pham Thi Suoi in Binh Nham commune.
