Help given to Mrs. Hang
Mrs.Hang receives Hao’s supportive money from Huong. Lastly, Binh Duong Newspaper’s Charity Program granted VND10mil funded by reader Tran Ai Hao in the HCMC to heart patient Nguyen Thi Hang, born in 1985 in Ca Mau province. Mrs. Hang and her family moved to the province in 2004. She now works for Thanh Phong brick kiln in Phu Giao district. Two years ago, she suddenly became weak and was diagnosed with a valvular disease of the heart. Owing to difficult situation, she can’t afford to treat the disease. The surgery cost of over VND60mil is out of her reach.
Seminar on ceramics opened
Within the framework of Vietnam-Binh Duong Ceramics Festival 2010, Vietnam Craft Village Association and the provincial People’s Committee jointly held a seminar themed Vietnamese Ceramics in the integration process. Strengthening road safety and drink-driving prevention in Vietnam

Viettel’s Binh Duong Branch donates house of “comradeship” to a policy beneficiary family

The 32sq.m house is worth VND50mln, commenced construction in July 2010.
Binh Duong greeting gate opens
The VND40bil work includes 2 main items of the greeting gate’s symbol and internal roads. Accordingly, the symbol work is made by stainless steel and reinforced concrete. The central symbol is a fulcrum for arch-frame looking like 2 kite wings. The symbol shows a modern architectural art, implying the province’s thirst for rising.
Thuan An center for disable children as home for those with special circumstances
Awards for outstanding pupils at the centerEstablished in 1886, Thuan An Center for Disable Children, or called “Lai Thieu Center for the Deaf and Dumb” is one of the centers for deaf children under the boarding and semi-boarding forms. The center is also a place to give skills for teachers for deaf schools and now has a total of 68 staff, including 9 nuns.
