After two months of launching the “Ceramics and Life” photo contest, the organizing board received 969 photos of 128 photographers. As a result, the first prize for the photo collection went to photographer Truong Kim Bang from HCMC whilst the 1st prize for single photo went to Duong Hoang Hanh from Long An province.
Spread of blue-ear epidemic must be controlled
Delegations of the provincial Veterinary Bureau and Animal Husbandry Bureau on Aug. 24 paid a working session with the local department of Agriculture and Rural Development to check the work of blue ear disease prevention in the locality. Accordingly, the epidemic disease remains complicated and is on the rise. As of Aug. 22, the entire province had 54 out of 91 communes having more than 10,000 sick pigs. The functional agencies also culled 4,850 sick pigs. However, after hitting across small breeding households, the blue-ear epidemic has spread to large scale breeding farmsteads.

Training camping festival opened
