Leaders of Police Ministry praised Hung Dong Plastic Company
Deputy Police Minister Dang Van Hieu has made a working visit to Hung Dong Plastic Company (Song Than Industrial Park) and praised the company for its best observation of policies for laborers. The company has over 500 contracted working staffs who are beneficiary of State’s social policies and child and housing supporting allowances.
Thuan An ensures order and security at industrial parks, compounds
Thuan An district is a key locality in economic development of the province. The district is now home to three industrial parks of Vietnam-Singapore, Viet Huong, Dong An and industrial compounds, mostly in Thuan Giao, Binh Chuan, Binh Hoa, An Phu communes and An Thanh township, attracting 2,015 businesses and a large amount of immigrant laborers. The district’s order and security, therefore, has become complicated. But, the district has taken lead in effectively realizing the “Ensuring order and security at industrial parks, compounds” project of provincial People’s Committee.

Thuan An Labor Union takes good care of civil servants-workers’ lives
Between 2005 and 2010, Thuan An district’s Labor Union joined hands with relevant agencies to monitor the situation of labor dispute at 191 businesses; solved many issues regarding the legislative rights and interests for 6,807 civil servants-laborers; set up a legal consulting squad and gave legal support for nearly 1,000 civil servants-laborers and 127 businesses.

Pickpockets on bus routes caught red-handed
Phu Hoa ward Anti-crime Club in Thu Dau Mot town yesterday caught red-handed two pickpockets on the Tan Uyen-Thu Dau Mot-Suoi Tien bus routes. They included Tran Quang Tri, 47, in Can Tho province and Phan Van Dung, 50, in HCMC. Within several hours, they picked 3 female workers’ pockets on the routes.
