In response to the World Environment Day, Binh Duong Urban Work One-Member Ltd. has many significant activities to reach remarkable results.

In response to this year’s World Environment Day with the theme of ‘Many species-one planet-on future’, the provincial People’s Committee issued Document No.783/UBND-KTN dated March 26, 2010 on launching promulgation and communication activities on environment protection to build the province into an urban area without garbage.

On June 2, Yazaki EDS Vietnam inaugurated My Phuoc Kindergarten at My Phuoc IP in Ben Cat district. The 1,687.7sqm kindergarten includes 3 classrooms and some functional rooms, being able to receive 200 kids aged 4 months old and above. It operates in two working shifts in the company’s My Phuoc plant. It has received 175 kids so far.

The provincial Fire-fighting Division on June 3 cooperated with the local Department of Technology and Science to hold a training course on fire-fighting for staff of the department. Learners were equipped with contents of skills of using fire extinguisher, water pipes effectively and safely.

Environmental protection (EP) has become significant for human life. Now, both functional agencies and residents join forces to curb climate change. Therefore, this year’s World Environment Day (June 5) is held solemnly at all levels with the theme “Many species – One Planet – One Future”.

On June 2, Phu Giao district division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in cooperation with the provincial Job Center opened a vocational training class on rubber latex exploitation for 40 rural laborers in Phuoc Sang commune.

On the occasion of the Int’l Children’s Day (June 1), Binh Minh Bookstore held a ‘festive day for children’, luring hundreds of local pupils. At the festive day, the bookstore granted 205 scholarships to needy pupils. This was also an activity starting for the bookstore’s program named ‘Fahasa and children’ running from May 31 to August 31 that offers many preferences for good pupils in the province.

On May 31, provincial Red Cross Society and Thanh Le Trading-Export Import Co. donated 200 gifts worth VND300,000 to the lonely elderly, the blind, the poor and Agent Orange (AO) victims in Phu Giao and Tan Uyen districts. The total cost for the donation is VND60mln, funded by Thanh Le Trading-Export Import Co. It is known that the company over time actively got involved in social and charity activities.
