Orientation of ideals for youth

In the first haft of 2013, provincial Youth Unions at all levels opened 197 classes for candidates of the Youth Union; admitted additional 9,192 Youth Union members; recommended 1,849 outstanding Youth Union members to classes for candidates of the Party and recommended 1,272 outstanding Youth Union members to the Party for consideration and admission.

Provincial Youth Union and its affiliates since early this year have teamed up with the local functional agencies to organize many substantial programs for Youth Union members, helping them have jobs and career orientation.

Overcoming difficulties

In the first half of 2013, Tan Binh ward in Di An town implemented payment policy of VND507,348mln for policy beneficiaries; visited and presented 678 gifts worth VND545,400mln for policy beneficiaries, the families of martyrs, retired cadres and those who rendered service to the nation; donated 221 Tet gifts worth more than VND10mln for social support beneficiaries.

 In the first half of 2013, provincial Youth Unions at all levels organized many significant programs, including building 3 houses of compassion to needy people in Di An town and TDM city; mobilizing organizations and individuals to present gifts worth nearly VND150mln to Youth Union members; visiting and giving gifts nearly VND100mln to Vietnamese heroic mothers and policy beneficiary families on Tet and great holidays. The local youth volunteers guiding candidates for the 2013 university entrance exam

The Southeastern region study promotion society’s most highlighted activity in the first half of this year was in holding honoring congress for fond-of-learning families and clans and study encouragement community.

According to the assessment, after 3 years of implementing the project, cadres and party members and people’s awareness on rural vocational training reached positive changes; the number of people joining in vocational training classes increased sharply. However, implementing the project remained limited and asynchronous.
