March 27, Standing Board of Provincial People’s Council coordinated with Provincial National Assembly Delegation and People’s Committee to hold a conference collecting ideas and proposals to the drafting of law on supervision of National Assembly and People’s Council.
The draft law includes 4 chapters and 90 articles stipulating on the supervision of National Assembly, NA Standing Committee, Council of Ethnicity, NA committees, NA Delegation and Delegates, People’s Council, Standing Board of People’s Council, boards of People’s Council and delegates of People’s Council, and responsibilities and duties of agencies, organizations, and individuals under supervision and management of other agencies, organizations, and individuals related to such supervision and management.
At the conference, the delegates concentrated on proposals to Resolution No. 85 of National Assembly on supervision role of standing board of people’s council, delegation grouping of people’s council in a bid to ensure high outcome of such supervision instance and improvement legitimate voting system and supervision for the time to come.
