Early January 29, a supervision delegation under provincial People’s Council’s Commission for Economics and State Budget, led by Nguyen Tam Duong had a working session with provincial Department of Industry and Trade on the province’s program on market price stabilization before, during and after the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2018.
This year, participating enterprises have been proactive to stockpile goods for Tet, so there is an abundant supply of Tet goods at people’s demand for shopping. The total value of Tet goods under the program (not including petrol and medicine) is more than VND1.34trillion.
On the Tet festival, enterprises are expected to supply the local market with 89,168 pigs, equivalent to 8,025 tons of meat; 788,678 fowls, equivalent to 1,183 tons of meat; more than 25 million of various eggs. For gasoline and petroleum, Thanh Le General Import Export Trading Company and Song Pe Gasoline-Petroleum One-Member Co.Ltd. have been assigned a task of increasing by 10%-20% in amount compared to the same period last year.
