Amid the current global economic landscape, which is being significantly impacted by shifts in supply chains, trade dynamics and the growing demand for production autonomy, auxiliary industries have increasingly affirmed their role as the "backbone" of modern industrial development. As an industrial province, Binh Duong is focusing on developing auxiliary industries to enhance competitiveness and integrate more deeply into global value chains. The province has been implementing various solutions such as establishing specialized mechanical engineering industrial parks (Ips), science and technology ones and auxiliary enterprises in digital transformation.
In recent years, Binh Duong has introduced numerous preferential policies to promote industrial development. The industrial sector has witnessed positive transformation, with auxiliary industries, making strong progress through integration into value chains of multinational corporations. Several key industries on electricity, electronics, telecommunications, information technology and mechanical engineering as well as export-oriented processing industries have played a leading role in driving growth. To attract investors to auxiliary industries, Binh Duong has prioritized and encouraged the development and capacity building of enterprises with auxiliary industries.
At present, Binh Duong has gathered all the necessary conditions to elevate the local auxiliary industries. However, to foster a unified voice, promote effective cooperation and support among enterprises in auxiliary industries, the recent establishment of provincial Auxiliary Industries Association marks an important milestone. The association serves as the official representative of the local business community in auxiliary industries. Its mission is to strengthen linkages and cooperation within and beyond the province; support enterprises in enhancing technology, management and workforce capacity; collaborate with local authorities in the process of industrialization and modernization; promote supply chain connectivity and international integration.
Binh Duong aims at becoming a center of smart manufacturing, with the widespread application of advanced automation solutions in production, contributing to improved productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the local industrial sector. To create favorable conditions for enterprises in auxiliary industries, Binh Duong has been focusing on investing in the development of increasingly modern and synchronized industrial park infrastructure, with plans to soon establish a science and technology industrial park. In addition, the province encourages investment in the development and advancement of auxiliary industries in the fields of machinery manufacturing and electronic equipment assembly, to serve the local high-tech industrial development strategy.
