On June 23, Tax Department of Region XVI held a conference to review tax work for the first six months of 2025, outline tasks for the remaining six months, and honor exemplary enterprises.

The conference report indicated that in the first half of the year, the total state budget revenue managed by Binh Duong tax sector was estimated at 34,361 billion VND, which accounts for 63.7% of the estimate and is 127.6% of the same period last year. Domestic revenue alone is also estimated at 34,361 billion VND, representing 63.7% of the estimate and 127.6% of the previous period. Furthermore, the Binh Duong Tax Department successfully launched eTax Mobile application, which has been downloaded and used 174,077 times. Additionally, there were 14,988 transactions for paying registration fees for cars and motorbikes in the province via banking and mobile banking. The department has also timely implemented support policies, including exemptions, reductions, and extensions of taxes, fees, charges, and land rents for individuals and businesses.
To ensure successful completion of the state budget revenue collection target for 2025, Tax Department of Region XVI will focus on 19 tasks and solutions to be executed in the last six months of the year. Specifically, attention will be given to inspections and examinations in thematic areas to prevent revenue loss in sectors with high tax risks, such as related party transactions, capital transfers, e-commerce, digital platform businesses, VAT refunds, fraudulent use of electronic invoices, and extraction of resources and minerals. Additionally, efforts will be made to enhance the quality of tax management for business households, ensuring correct, complete, and timely tax collection, along with digital transformation in tax management to create a transparent and equitable business environment for individual businesses and households.
During this event, 15 organizations were awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial People's Committee, and three organizations received certificates from the General Department of Taxation. Numerous groups, individuals, and enterprises in the province were also recognized and rewarded by the Tax Department for their accomplishments in implementing tax policies and laws in 2023.
