Such is the latest figure updated by Dau Tieng District People’s Committee. Accordingly, the district now has totally 224 enterprises operating in production and commercial activities. This is an encouraging figure for an agricultural district with revenues primarily earned from rubber trees. Notably, in recent years, investors have invested up to US$ 50 million of capital to build factories for wood production in Thanh An Cluster, contributing to the changing of socio-economic appearance of the district.
In the last 10 months, the estimated total value of production in the whole district reached over VND 1,900 billion, equaling to 73.02% of the plan, and increasing by 11.36% over the same period of the previous year. In recent years, the district has organized three fairs of "Vietnamese goods to rural areas" to meet the shopping needs of the people.
