Early September 28, provincial People’s Committee forwarded a conference to review the 15-year implementation of the local social policy credit for the period of 2002 and 2017.
Attending the conference were Nguyen Manh Tu, Deputy General Director of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP); Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, Head of the Representative Board of the VBSP’s Binh Duong branch.

Addressing the conference, Mr.Hung acknowledged and praised the branch for its achievements during the 15 past years. He also emphasized that the branch needs to focus on removing its shortcomings; further improve its operational effectiveness; follow hard the province’s orientations as well as the sector’s development targets in order to better realize credit policies of the State in general and of the VBSP in particular, aiming to enhance the lives of people and reduce poor households in the province.
On this occasion, provincial People’s Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 88 outstanding collectives and individuals in the local field of social policy credit for the period of 2002 and 2017; 52 other outstanding collectives and individuals also received the certificates of merit of General Director of the VBSP in this field for the period of 2002-2017.
