On November 8, a representative of Binh Duong Power Company informed that in 2022, this unit was allocated by Southern Electricity Corporation (EVN SPC) a construction investment capital plan worth more than 338 billion VND to invest in power grids, optical cables, and purchase fixed assets for production business.
Up to now, the company has completed 19/43 projects, 16 projects are under construction, and 8 projects are in document approval and contractor selection processes.
In addition, in order to improve the quality of electricity, minimize losses and improve reliability and safety of electricity supply, Binh Duong Power Company is upgrading medium-voltage network in centre of towns, cities of the province with a total investment of VND135 billion. In October alone, Binh Duong Power Company put into operation My Hoa 110kV substation (My Phuoc 3 Industrial Park, Ben Cat Town).
The project has contributed to strengthening the electricity supply in the province, promptly meeting the electricity demand in the area. In addition, the management and operation of the power grid also witnesses many good changes; this is proved by the decrease in the number of power grid incidents and the improved reliability of power supply compared to the same period in 2021. This result ensures stable, safe and continuous power supply for production, business and daily-life activities in the area.
