The 5th International Trade Fair for Construction, Building and Mining-Machinery, Equipment, Materials, Vehicles, Technology and Services (ConBuild Vietnam 2011) showcases most modern technologies and machinary in these sectors from domestic businesses and those from Germany and Singapore.
The event also attracts the participation of leading groups including China’s Sany displaying its excavators, concrete mixers, cranes truck and pile drivers and India’s Balkrishna Industries Limited (BKT) exhibiting industrial, constructional, and mining machines.
Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tran Nam said the fair helps bring valuable experience and advanced technologies to Vietnam.
It also provides a good opportunity for foreign businesses to seek partners, expand their trade cooperation, and boost investment in the country, he added.
A number of forums on energy saving at construction sites, green building materials, and completion of a construction law are scheduled as part of the event.
Conbuild Vietnam 2011 is being held jointly by the Messe Muechen International Asia (MMI ASIA) and the Ministry of Construction.
