get animated with the 2012 summer youth volunteer campaign themed “Youths
joining hands to build new rural areas”. The theme is very suitable to the
district’s economic conditions, creating more opportunities for the local
youths to achieve successes.

Significant activities
In response to the 2012 summer youth volunteer campaign, Tan Uyen district will organize three “Green” Sundays and the “Lighting candles to pay tribute to martyrs” program at martyrs’ cemetery; cooperated with the Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to open vocational training courses for rural laborers; implement the “Youth and traffic culture” campaign…
The district’s Youth Union and its affiliates have also been instructed to offer more help to the poor; clean up monuments, martyrs’ cemetery; visit and present gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers, the families of martyrs, war invalids and those who rendered service to the country on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of Martyrs and War Invalids’ Day (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2012).
Apartedly, the district’s Youth Union and its affiliates have actively mobilized enterprises and donors to take part in volunteer activities; offered help to needy youths and children; realized many substantial activities for a green-clear-nice environment…
Voluntary youths going along with four campaigns
Bach Dang is one of the province’s four key communes for implementation of the “new rural construction” campaign. Nguyen Thanh Tri, Secretary of the commune’s Youth Union said: “Under the campaign, the local voluntary youths will get involved in making environmental hygiene; upgrading in-field water works, rural roads and organizing many cultural-sports activities for children…”
For better results, youths across the district have also gone along with four campaigns: “New rural construction”, “Green environment”, “Traffic safety” and “Giving offer help to pupils” with many substantial activities, including making afforestation, clearing canals, keeping traffic order and safety, organizing charity classes…
