With a favorable investment climate with expanded markets and support policies…, businesses in Ben Cat town believed that 2018 will continue being a year full of advantages for their production and business activities.
Kim Dong Yu, Director of Orion Vina Food Co.Ltd. at Ben Cat town-based My Phuoc 2 Industrial Park said that the company’s annual growth has always reached more than 20%. This result came from the efforts by the company plus active support from the local functional agencies. He believed that the company will continue fulfilling its plan for 2018.
Whilst, representative of the Japanese-invested Punch Industry Manufacturing Vietnam Co.Ltd. at My Phuoc 3 Industrial Park said that the company has just put its factory in operation in the town. With a favorable investment climate plus the attention of the local leaders, the company’s production-business activities will enjoy advantages in 2018 with output and revenue that are expected to be higher than 2017.
Along with FDI businesses, domestic ones in the town have mapped out high growth strategies for 2018. Tran Tien Nam, CEO of Quang Minh Production-Trading Joint Stock Co., which is specialized in making handicrafts from rattan, bamboo and water hyacinth…, stated that the company’s annual output has reached nearly 30,000 products with the average revenue of between US$800,000 and US$900,000. Despite difficulties, the company last year tried to complete the set targets. In 2018, the company has set a target of reaching a 20%-30% growth in terms of revenue. The company’s production value in the first two months of 2018 surged nearly 10% compared to the same period last year.
Last year, Dong Xuan Paper Package Private Enterprise also took fruits in production and business. Nguyen Van Hung, Director of the enterprise said that although facing high competitive pressure from enterprises around the world, domestic enterprises have still maintained their production-business activities, ensuring stable incomes for laborers. In 2017, the company reached nearly VND20billion in revenue, creating jobs for nearly 100 laborers with the average income of VND8million per person per month. With a favorable investment climate plus the attention, support of sectors and the locality, Mr.Hung believed that his company will complete the set targets in 2018.
Possibly seeing, businesses’ effective activities over the past time contributed to promoting the economic development of the town. In 2018, the town will strive to reach more than VND115.7trillion in production value, up 18.4% compared to 2017. Of these, industrial production value will be more than VND91.18trillion, up 15.8%.
It is believed that businesses’ optimistic spirit with high growth targets will contribute to helping the town complete targets on economic development in 2018. As of now, most of businesses in the town have operated stably after Tet with more than 90% of laborers coming back to work.
