Le Thanh Cung, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, on October 2, presided over a meeting by provincial Council for Emulation and Reward to approve a list of outstanding entrepreneurs to be honored at the upcoming get-together marking Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day, October 13 (photo).
frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>According to a report by provincial Department of Home Affairs, 171 enterprises, 162 entrepreneurs and 10 owners of farmsteads in the province will be awarded the certificates of merit on this occasion. Among them, there are 26 State-run enterprises, 58 FDI enterprises, 5 joint venture enterprises and 82 private enterprises. They are outstanding enterprises with contributions to the province’s socio-economic development.
The upcoming get-together marking Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day is expected to be organized on the afternoon of October 13 with around 500 participants. On this occasion, the Mobilization Board for the establishment of provincial Business Union will also make its debut.
Addressing the meeting, Mr.Cung basically agreed with the list of outstanding enterprises and entrepreneurs to be honored and the plan of organizing the get-together. He also suggested the local functional agencies to consider and add leaders of some outstanding enterprises into the list of entrepreneurs to be honored on this occasion.
