Late Nov.11, provincial Steering Board for the 3rd Week for Young Workers held a conference to sum up the result of the organization of the week. According to the organization board, the week’s activities were very diversified and plentiful, bringing positive results like the set goals.
During the week, young workers had the chance
to take part in many significant activities, including the week-launching
ceremony in Binh Duong new city, “Joyful market days” in industrial parks;
festival days for young workers; the ceremony praising outstanding young
workers; folk games…The organization board of the week also provided free
medical check-ups and gifts for needy young workers; made dissemination of the
legal knowledge among young workers…
Noticeably, provincial 3rd Week for Young Workers was strongly responded by province-based businesses. They raised money to provincial Support Fund for Alien Youths; teamed up with the organization boards at all levels to organize more than 150 cultural-sports activities with participation of nearly 11,000 Youth Union members and young workers. This was a good sign in raising businesses’ awareness and action of taking care of young workers’ lives.
On behalf of provincial Steering Board for the 3rd Week for Young Workers, provincial Youth Union Chief Vo Van Minh said that thanks to having good preparation and instruction, this week’s activities met young workers’ demand, upholding the forces of the whole society in taking care of the material and spiritual lives of young workers, especially alien ones.
The above results will be an important lesson to more successfully realize the next week for young workers. But, there needs to be more efforts in upholding the role of businesses for the organization of the annual provincial week’s activities for young workers. This aims to bring into full play the goal and meaning of the annual event of the province.
