In 2023, the Livestock and Veterinary Stations in districts, towns, and cities within the province conducted 907 inspections on the conditions of animal business, animal products, veterinary drugs, animal feed, food safety inspections at markets, disease prevention measures at livestock farms, and hygiene conditions at centralized slaughterhouses for livestock and poultry.
Through the inspection, 473 cases of violations were detected, and the relevant authorities have proposed administrative penalties amounting to nearly 2 billion VND for these violations. Additionally, there were 3 cases where 1,986kg of animal products that did not meet veterinary hygiene standards were confiscated and destroyed.
