Provincial People's Committee has just issued the Document No. 5647/UBND-KT on launching the peak emulation campaign of "500 peak days, nights in emulation to complete 3,000km of expressway".
Accordingly, provincial People's Committee has been ordered to coordinate with provincial Department of Transport, Department of Home Affairs, Transport Construction Investment Project Management Board, relevant agencies, units and localities under their functions and tasks, based on the Prime Minister's guiding opinions in documents to advise provincial People's Committee on promulgating a specific plan to organize and implement the Ho Chi Minh City belt road 3 construction project in the province on schedule, exceeding the set plan, ensuring the quality of works and projects (including resettlement items) under the direction of the Government and provincial Party Standing Committee.

For the construction of the Ho Chi Minh city belt road 4 and the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway projects that pass through Binh Duong province, provincial People's Committee has assigned provincial Department of Planning and Investment to coordinate with provincial Department of Home Affairs, Department of Transport, Traffic Infrastructure Investment Project Management Board, relevant agencies and localities to update the progress of tasks under provincial People's Committee’s Plan No. 1013/KH-UBND and Plan No. 1014/KH-UBND. Additionally, specific emulation criteria and reward methods will be added.
*Provincial People's Committee has also issued Document No. 5590/UBNDKT regarding the implementation of a peak campaign to accelerate public investment disbursement.
Accordingly, Chairman of provincial People's Committee assigned provincial Department of Planning and Investment to coordinate with provincial Department of Finance, relevant agencies, units and localities to urgently advise provincial People's Committee on issuing a plan for "Accelerating Public Investment Disbursement" peak campaign from October 15 to December 15, 2024, striving for the highest disbursement rate of the 2024 public investment plan.
Provincial People's Committee also emphasized the need to assign specific disbursement targets to each department, agency, district, city and investment unit, with clear responsibility, timelines and tasks. The goal is to implement solutions in an synchronous way to achieve the set objectives.
Provincial People's Committee also called on leaders of agencies, units and Chairpersons of districts and cities’ People's Committees to take responsibility for directing and coordinating with provincial Department of Planning and Investment to ensure progress and quality in the assigned tasks.
