On December 14, at Ben Suc Rubber Farm (Dau Tieng Rubber Company), the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group held the 13th "Golden hand to harvest rubber" contest 2022. Tran Cong Kha, Chairman of Vietnam Rubber Industry Group; Le Thanh Hung, General Director of Vietnam Rubber Industry Group; representatives of the Central ministries and branches, Binh Duong province, neighboring provinces and cities; leader of Champasak province (Laos) attended the ceremony.
The 2022 "Golden hand to harvest rubber" had 64 teams with 325 participants, including 47 units took part in the team competition. Contestants answered 60 questions in form of multiple-choice test in 30 minutes. The jury also marked 9 types of harvesting tools that are being used daily by the candidates.
In the practice competition, the candidate tapped 100 rubber trees in 20 minutes. In addition to the official prizes, contestants with a perfect score 100 were awarded the title of "Golden Hand", ones scoring from 96 to 99.5 points were awarded the title "Master of rubber tapping". All participants received industry-level certificates of excellent workers.
