96% of workers in IPs signed labor deals

According to provincial Industrial Parks (IPs)’ Management Board, up to now, there are 485,287 employees signed labor deals, accounting for 96% of the total number of employees working in the IPs. The average income of a worker with direct production is VND7.3million per month, up 1.6% over the same period.

As of now, the total number of domestic workers working in province-based IPs has been 505,970 people, an increase of 2,260 people compared to the end of 2022; an increase of 17,146 employees over the same period. Among them, 426,182 and 79,788 employees have worked in foreign-invested enterprises and in domestic ones, respectively. The total number of foreign workers working in Binh Duong has been 12,975 people. In the first 3 months of 2023, provincial IPs’ Management Board issued 596 new work permits, bringing the total number of foreign workers with work permits to 12,365, accounting for 95.3% of the total number of workers working in province-based IPs.
