Binh Duong’s sector of industry and trade in collaboration with Binh Duong Electricity Company and relevant units has promoted many electricity-saving programs and implemented inspection tours of province-based electricity-using facilities about their safe use of electricity and electricity saving. There were more than 19.6 mln kWh of electricity saved as of late July, lifting the province’s saved volume of electricity in July to more than 91.47mln kWh of electricity. Of the total figure, the province saved more than 4.53 mln kWh in public lighting electricity, more than 60.57mln kWh in industrial manufacture, more than 3.52mln kWh in administrative institutions and more than 22.83 mln kWh in living electricity.
According to provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the province’s commercial electricity output as of late July reached more than 4.01 bln kWh or 111.72% compared to the corresponding period of last year. Additional 12,262 galvanometers were installed, bringing the province’s total number of galvanometers to 319,591. And 99.9% of people in the province were in use of electricity.
