A joyful market-day was organized in Tan Uyen district’s Tan Dinh commune, absorbing hundreds of the local people on its opening day. The local people were very happy when visiting the joyful market-day.
Couple Hoang Minh and Ngoc Lan said
that they came to the market-day to buy necessary commodities for their small
hearth. Meanwhile, the family of Nguyen Thi Hong was also eager to visit and
buy commodities at the joyful market-day.

At the opening ceremony, the organizers also presented 30 gifts to poor households in Tan Dinh commune. It is known that each gift is worth VND500,000, funded by participating enterprises.
Pham My Hue, a poor resident in Tan Dinh commune said: “I felt very happy when being selected to receive a gift from the organizers”. According to Hue, her family now faces difficulties. She has suffered from a heart disease for 6 years and her feet could not move. And now, she has to maintain her two grandchildren from VND1mln monthly sent from their mother.
Huynh Thi Thanh and many other poor people in Tan Dinh commune fell very happy when receiving significant gifts from the organizers.
And enterprises also happy
The joyful market-day in Tan Uyen district’s Tan Dinh commune lured 22 enterprises with 48 pavilions displaying a wide rage of products, ranging foodstuff, clothes to electronic appliances…
Especially, Co-op Mark also brought the joyful market-day many essential commodities such as seasoning power, sugar, cooking oil…at the local people’s daily demand.
Bui Trung Hieu, a staff of Trung Thao Electronic Appliances Enterprise in TDM city said: “We have taken part in many joyful market-days. At any joyful market-days, we have brought all products from machines to household electronic appliances with the selling prices that are equivalent to those sold at our store...”.
Whilst, Mai Thu Co., which is specialized in producing and supplying various drapes, pillows and blankets, and Minh Suong Co., which is specialized in manufacturing ready-made clothes has always gone along with joyful market-days nationwide.
According to representatives from enterprises, joyful market days are an attractive distribution channel. Vo Van Cu, Director of provincial Department of Industry and Trade said: “Organizing joyful market-days is part of the program “Bringing Vietnamese goods to rural region”. They have also created favorable conditions for enterprises to promote their products in the domestic market.
