Early May 21, Anheus Bush (AB) InBever Vietnam Company held a ceremony to inaugurate its brewery at the expanded VSIP II in southern Binh Duong province.

Attending the ceremony were the U.S Consulate General in HCM city; Phan Chi Dung, Belgian Envoy to Vietnam; Head of the Department of Light Industry under the Ministry of Industry and Trade; Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Ricardo Vasques, Chairman of AB InBev Company in the Asia-Pacific region together with leaders and staff of InBever Vietnam Company.
Covering 100,000 sq.m, the plant will produce 50 million liters of beer a year for the first phase and its capacity will be doubled in the next phase.
Designed under modern technologies, the plant it is seen as an important milestone in AB InBev’s long-term business strategy in Vietnamese potential market and Southeastern region.
Addressing the ceremony, Mr.Liem spoke highly of the company’s project while saying that the project was in line with the province’s policy calling for investment. Provincial leaders would create favorable conditions for the company to opportunely deal with difficulties for more effective operation in the province.
