Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd. has always accompanied the development of Dau Tieng district. The company has made active contributions to the local socio-economic development and national defence-security.
Investment for social welfare works
Along with supporting the district in building, upgrading streets in the district, Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd. carried out many social welfare works, comprising of kindergartens, pre-schools, health facilities…to serve workers and locals over the past years.
Especially, with the motto of “economic development in association with taking care of the spiritual life of laborers and locals”, the company built a cultural-sports center of 6.5 hectares with functional sections. The company also constructed a recreational area of nearly 10,000 square meters for children in the precinct of the center.
Together with social welfare works, under the district’s overall plan approved by provincial People’s Committee, the company considered and supported land fund for the district to build and expand streets, power grids; construct water drainage and supply systems, schools, cultural-sports works…
Taking part in new-style rural construction
Dau Tieng district has made efforts in realizing the national target program on new-style rural construction. Upon this, the district was awarded the emulation banner of the Government and recognized as a new-style rural district in 2015. This is also the first new-style rural district of the province.
The result also came from great contributions by Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd. Nguyen Phuong Linh, Chairman of Dau Tieng district’s People’s Committee said that seven years ago, the district’s People’s Committee and the company set the plan No.49 on coordination between the district and the company. Under the plan, the company had coordination with the district in such fields as planning, traffic, social welfare investment, industrial manufacture, trade-services…
The company also worked with the district to exploit institutions in terms of culture, sports, education, health, communications, job generation…Mr.Linh affirmed: “We have spoken highly of the company’s efficiency in social-economic development, national defence-security. Especially, the company and the district have had good coordination in the realization of the Plan 49, significantly contributing to the local completion of the new-style rural construction program and further implementing the advanced style-rural construction program in the coming time.
Apart from taking care of the material life of workers, the company has paid attention to supporting the district in constructing charity, gratitude houses, made contributions to the local fund for the poor, gratitude fund and other social policies. In 2019, the company spent more than VND8billion on organizing social charity activities in and out of the province. The company strengthened purchase of rubber latex from people with more than 15,677 tons of latex rubber bought last year or more than 120% of the year’s plan. This not only helped the company take initiative in materials, but also helped locals get stable consumption, restricting the impacts of the market, especially in the current period.
