TDM city’s Steering Board of Food Safety has just forwarded a conference to implement a plan on the Action Month for Food Safety 2017 under the theme of “Safe production, trade and consumption of safe vegetables and meat; Controlling alcohol, preventing alcohol poisoning and ensuring street food safety”.
Under the plan, the city will focus on propaganda work to raise awareness of the local authorities, management officials, producers, traders and consumers of the importance of ensuring the safety of food, especially fresh food such as vegetables, meat and seafood, as well as alcohol. The plan will also attach special importance to tightening control over contaminated food for timely settlement as stipulated.
It is known that the plan will be implemented in 14 wards of the city from April to December, 2017.
