The Center for Investment, Trade Promotion and Industrial Development under provincial Department of Industry and Trade has just organized the 2019 Week for Vietnamese goods and Binh Duong’s traditional handicrafts at Aeon Mall Binh Duong Canary in Thuan An town.
Opportunity to buy Vietnamese goods
The market-day includes 2 main sections for 9 local enterprises to display a wide range of traditional handicrafts with discounts. During the three-day event, there is a program making pottery, rattan, bamboo, lacquer items from artisans.
Nguyen Van Thach, a resident in Thuan An town’s Lai Thieu ward said that the campaign of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” has greatly contributed to changing people’s thought about Vietnamese goods. The market-day has helped him know more about the benefits of Vietnamese goods. This is also a chance for people to get access to Vietnamese goods with high quality and reasonable price.
Whilst, Nguyen Ai Dung, sales and marketing manager of Aeon Mall Binh Duong Canary said: “The second market-day has continued affirming our commitment on supporting Vietnamese goods. It has also contributed to realizing our vision in making contributions to the capacity of getting access to Vietnamese goods and the development of Binh Duong”.
According Le Ba Linh, Director of Tu Bon Lacquer Ware Co.Ltd., he is very excited when taking part in the market-day of Vietnamese goods. The company has also enjoyed favorable conditions for its trade promotion at home and abroad after the campaign of “Vietnamese people give priority to Vietnamese goods” was implemented. The company has also got more thriving after participating in trade fairs.
Strengthening trade promotion activities
Over the past time, under the instruction of ministries, central sectors and the province, provincial Department of Industry and Trade together with province-based enterprises and supermarkets has organized a lot of trade fairs, market-days and programs bringing Vietnamese goods with high quality and reasonable price to the local people.
Phan Thi Khanh Duyen, Director of provincial Center for Investment, Trade Promotion and Industrial Development said that on the occasion of marking 10 years of implementing the campaign of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods”, the center will continue strengthening trade promotion activities for the local traditional handicrafts, including lacquer wares, pottery products, rattan-bamboo items…
“Currently, the province not only realizes industrial development, but also fosters trade-services, home industries. The province has still continued maintaining the local traditional handicraft villages. In the coming time, the center will further advise the province on mapping out trade promotion programs for each special industry and product for long-term development support”, she said.
