Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, on July 3, held a conference to partially review its activities in the first half of 2019 and define orientations, tasks for the rest of the year.
The event was attended by Mai Hung Dung, Pernament Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; leaders of districts, towns, TDM city and relevant sectors, departments.
Reportedbly, the province’s agricultural production over the past six months was developed in the right direction with total agro-forestry and fishery production value estimated at more than VND5.9trillion, up 3.5% compared to the same period last year. There were 99.85% of people in the rural region in use of clean water; 100% of communes and 3 districts and townships meeting criteria of the new-style rural construction program under the plan of provincial People’s Committee.
Speaking at the conference, Mr.Dung asked for the local agricultural sector to further strengthen coordination with localities and relevant sectors to be proactive to prevent epidemic diseases; work with localities to set up protective forest landmarks and issue regulations on breeding swallows…
