Morning September 10th, Amway Vietnam Ltd. Co. inaugurated the 2nd plant in Vietnam located in Vietnam-Singapore II industrial park, Tan Uyen town. Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade; Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, Vice Chairman of PPC, attended the ceremony.

The plant had a total area of 54,675 m2 with total investment of $25 million, was equipped with modern machinery and technologies meeting international standards. The plant consisted of two production lines with the main input source imported directly from the US and manufacturing nutritional supplement products under the brand Nutrilite. Capacity per year reaches more than 23 million products. Expectedly, the plant in Binh Duong would create new jobs for 172 labors.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem said, this project of Amway Vietnam Ltd. Co. was consistent with provincial current policies to attract investments. Provincial leaders appreciated the 2nd plant of the company. Mr. Liem also hoped that the company would operate efficiently and generate high quality products.
On this occasion, Amway Vietnam Ltd. Co. awarded VND500 million to Binh Duong Child Protection Fund to support poor-but-excellent pupils in the province.
