On the morning of November 27, Mai Hung Dung, Member of Binh Duong provincial Party Standing Committee, Deputy Permanent Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to listen to reports from units on the preparation for organizing Horasis 2023 – the Economic Cooperation Forum in Binh Duong province.
The forum is scheduled to take place over two days from December 3 to December 4 at the provincial Conference and Exhibition Center. The event is expected to host approximately 800 delegates, including government leaders, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other central and local government departments, experts and high-level leaders from the Horasis community, Consulates General of various countries in Ho Chi Minh city, foreign business associations and chambers of commerce, as well as the local business community in Binh Duong and Vietnam. Horasis 2023 will consist of 6 plenary sessions and 28 dialogues, running concurrently. Among them, 2 special sessions will be focusing on Binh Duong's Smart Community and Innovation and the 4th Industry Revolution.
Statement at the meeting, Mai Hung Dung emphasized that Horasis Forum 2023 was an opportunity to boost trade, attract investment, and expand cooperation between Binh Duong and the world; thereby, creating an important foundation, continuing to contribute to the province's breakthrough economic and social program. To successfully organize Horasis 2023, the Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee has proposed that departments and agencies should assign clear responsibilities and prepare meticulously to ensure the event's successful outcome.
