Early June 15, FAO Certification and Testing Joint Stock Company in collaboration with Hieu Liem communal People's Committee in North Tan Uyen district held a ceremony to award the certificates of VietGAP to citrus fruit farms under the regulations.
Representative of the company said that there are 7 farms registering to participate in VietGAP certification, including 3 farms for recertification, 4 with certification for the first time. Among the 4 farms implementing the certification for the first time, 3 farms are supported under the Decision No. 11/2014/QDUBND of provincial People's Committee. In addition to the policy of support from the provincial State budget, the farms have also received the company’s support policies, including 1,000 traceability stamps, 1m2 x 2m production area identification signs…
At the ceremony, representative of the company and Hieu Liem communal People's Committee implemented policies to support good agricultural production practices; policies to support linkages and consumption of agricultural products in the province and the “One Commune One Product” (OCOP) Program. They also awarded the VietGAP certificates to 7 establishments in the commune. The establishments received the traceability stamps awarded by the company and affixed symbolic stamps on some of their products.
