February 20, Binh Duong Provincial Construction Project Management held a ceremony to start up construction of Ba Lua Bridge connecting An Son Commune of Thuan An Town to Phu Tho Ward of Thu Dau Mot Town.
Chairman Le Thanh Cung of the Provincial People’s Committee sends order to start up construction of Ba Lua Bridge
The 5-span bridge is to be built by permanent concrete at the length of 38.2 m and height of 2.67 m, ensuring 4th grade boats to pass by. By HL-93 design, the bridge can bear up to 30 tons of vehicle loads.
The project was made by Binh Duong General Construction and Consultancy Joint Stock Company which handed over to bid winning joint venture of Binh Duong General Construction and Consultancy Joint Stock Company and the 508 Co. Ltd. at VND 66.3 billion. Monitoring unit will be Lam Tan Production and Construction Co. Ltd.
Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Nam, Deputy Provincial Chairman praised up efforts of the managing board, designers, and tenders for well-preparation of a major construction in the province, connecting the region to other localities of Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai in a bid of promoting tourism, economics, and society. He called upon them to stick to construction plans.
