In the morning of June 23, the People's Committee of Bac Tan Uyen district held a preliminary meeting on the fight against smuggling, fake goods and trade frauds in the first 6 months of the year and implemented the tasks and orientations for the last 6 months of 2020.
According to a report of the Steering Committee 389 of Bac Tan Uyen district, the situation of law observance in production and business activities in the district had a positive change. However, smuggling, trading in banned goods, goods of unknown origin, poor quality, trade frauds still occur but the scale is not large.
In the first 6 months, functional forces organized inspection of 760 cases, thereby detecting and sanctioning 65 cases with total fines and tax arrears of more than VND 1.2 billion. In the coming time, along with the propaganda of the law, the Steering Committee of 389 districts continues to deploy plans to fight smuggling, counterfeiting, and commercial fraud in the district.
