Under the Resolution of the 10th provincial Party congress and the Resolution of the local 11th Party congress for the 2015-2010 tenure, Bau Bang district has realized a program on modern and synchronous infrastructure construction in the period of 2016-2020 and vision to 2030. After more than 2 years of implementing the program, the district’s infrastructure system has been invested very strongly, contributing to the local socio-economic development.
Infrastructure being perfected
As a newly-established locality, Bau Bang district has made efforts to surmount difficulties and taken full advantage of favorable conditions to develop the local socio-economic infrastructure system.

Nguyen Huu Chi, Secretary of the district’s Party Committee said that the district’s infrastructure in all aspects has so far reached vigorous development. There has also been strong evolution in terms of the local traffic network, facilitating people’s traveling and goods transportation.
According to the district’s People’s Committee, during the 2016-2017 period, the district’s total expenditure for traffic infrastructure investment was estimated at more than VND158billion. Many streets connecting with localities were upgraded. They included the street from Tru Van Tho commune to DT750 street with a total cost of more than VND12.7billion; the work of upgrading the 4.1km-DH619 street with more than VND13.9billion…The district’s rural streets were also covered with asphalt with a total expense of more than VND54.4billion.
With a goal of striving to soon become an urban-industrial center in the northern region of the province, the district has focused on infrastructure construction. The Bau Bang urban and industrial park has basically fulfilled its infrastructure system and continued building infrastructure facilities in the expanded area of 1,000 hectares. Tan Binh industrial park’s infrastructure system with 95.18 hectares in the district is also being perfected. In addition, the district has planned to construct infrastructure facilities of the 600-hectare Lai Hung industrial park and the 700-hectare Cay Truong industrial park.
Well mobilizing resources for investment
According to the district’s People’s Committee, the local infrastructure system is now improved a lot in comparison to the previous time, but it still has many shortcomings for change.
To well realize the local program on modern and synchronous infrastructure construction for the period of 2016-2020 and vision to 2030, the district will further bend on taking solutions to remove obstacles in capital disbursement and investment; instruct investors to comply with mid-term and annual public investment plans; adjust works being implemented under the Law on Public Investment and the plan on investment capital…
Mr.Tri added that along with sufficiently preparing necessary conditions at requirements of investors at industrial parks, the district will promote fields in terms of banking, supermarket trading, health-education…, contributing to the local infrastructure development.
