In 2022, the transaction office of the Bau Bang district Social Policy Bank has maintained its operation in accordance with the regulations on credit policy, contributing to the implementation of tasks and goals of sustainable poverty reduction and new rural construction to ensure social security and limit black credit activities in the district.
Accordingly, the total outstanding loans entrusted through socio-political organizations is currently VND 359,417 million, accounting for 96.2% of the total outstanding loans to 7,735 outstanding borrowers and 169 savings and loans groups in operation. The district Social Policy Bank’s Transaction Office has also implemented many solutions to improve the operation quality of savings and loan groups, contributing to timely transmission of policy capital to poor and nearly-poor households along with other beneficiaries. Up to now, all 169 groups are with savings deposit balance as the number of households participating in saving is 5,302 out of 7,735 , reaching 68.7% of total outstanding households. Total savings mobilized through the group reached VND 26,979 million, which is an increase of VND 933 million compared to the beginning of 2022.
