Well mobilizing resources to build infrastructure facilities
Based on provincial Party Committee’s Program No.23-CTr/TU dated August 16, 2016 on mobilizing and upholding resources from economic sectors to further make investment in the province’s socio-economic infrastructure facilities for the period of 2016-2020, Bau Bang district has promoted the local socio-economic infrastructure system.

Nguyen Huu Chi, Secretary of the district’s Party Committee said that more than VND1.56trillion from State budget will be used for the district’s socio-economic infrastructure construction between 2016 and 2020. The capital is mainly spent on constructing major works relating to education, traffic infrastructure…The district has also mobilized more than VND178billion from many other resources to make investment in this field.
Along with developing industrial parks’ infrastructure facilities from State budget, the district has called for enterprises to invest in many other infrastructure items, comprising of building Bau Bang water plant with the daily capacity of 5,000 cubic meters at the Bau Bang Industrial-Urban Park. The daily capacity of the water plant is expected to reach 50,000 cubic meters…
Services promoted
Since being established, Bau Bang district has gained robust growth in the trade-service sector with diversification in terms of service forms from credit, post-telecommunications, construction-transportation, lodging to healthcare…According to leaders of the district, under provincial Party Committee’s Program No.24-CTr.TU dated August 16, 2016 on further developing hi-quality services at province’s urban and industrial development for the period of 2016-2020, the district gained the annual average growth of retail sales revenue of commodities and services of 23.17% between 2015-2017. The figure in 2017 was 24.21%.
The district is now home to 9 markets with a total investment expenditure of more than VND48billion. The number of the district’s trade-service facilities has also reached the annual growth of 6.3%-8.95%. They mainly focus on public, health-education services…In terms of the sector’s structure, the proportion of trade facilities accounts for 55.63%; lodging, eating-drinking services, 21.42% and other services, 22.95%.
Mr.Chi said that the above-mentioned results came from the district’s efforts in exactly defining the local potentialities for development. The district also selected major issues to set up action programs, plans in line with the local real situation; had good coordination with sectors, departments in the province and great businesses to implement projects, plans. In addition, the local authorities at all levels, businesses and people made huge efforts in realizing the set solutions…All helped the district effectively realize provincial Party Committee’s breakthrough programs, contributing to the local socio-economic development …
