Green-skinned grapefruit is considered the main product of Bau Bang district with delicious flavor and outstanding quality. Farms and orchards have applied science and technology into production, creating quality products favored by consumers, ensuring export standards. Some typical products among them are the green-skinned pomelo products of Mai Quoc farm (Cay Truong 2 commune), Thanh Thuy farm (Long Nguyen commune)...

With an area of nearly 40 hectares, Tran Thanh Lam (Mai Quoc farm) has boldly applied high technology to growing fruit trees, his main product is green-skinned pomelo made good profits. In 2023, the farm's green-skinned pomelo product was recognized by Provincial People's Committee with three-star OCOP. In addition to green-skinned pomelo, Bau Bang district also has many other strong products, such as melon, wild cucumber, spring rolls, bird's nest, bamboo shoots... All products are manufactured in a safe and high quality manner, meeting the increasing demands of the market.

Owning a melon farm with an area of about 16,000 square meters, HTP Green Cantaloupe Cooperative in Lai Uyen town is a typical urban agricultural production model in Bau Bang district with 15 net houses, average capacity of each net house is about 3-3.5 tons of cantaloupe/1,000m2, producing three main varieties of cantaloupe: green melon, Huynh Long yellow melon, and white honeydew melon. In addition, Bau Bang district also has unique products such as Ngo Van wild cucumbers from Bao Phuoc Gold Shop Company (Lai Hung commune), Song Dam fresh whole rice (Tan Hung commune)...

According to Nguyen Van Thuong, Vice Chairman of Bau Bang District People's Committee, the one-commune-one-product OCOP program is identified as an important task, contributing to exploiting the local potential and raising the value of agricultural products, agricultural and rural economic development. The district determines that the focus of the program is to develop agricultural and non-agricultural products and advantageous services in each locality according to the value chain implemented by private and collective economic sectors.

Duy Huy bird's nest business household (Cay Truong 2 commune) has been operating since 2020. With 22 bird's nest houses, well invested, capable of producing in large quantities, meeting market demand. In 2024, bird's nest products were recognized by the district as one of 4 products meeting OCOP three-star standards.

At trade fairs and exhibitions, the locality often notifies and assists us in preparing products for promoting and introducing.

According to Bau Bang district leaders, to improve the quality of local products, the district has been implementing many comprehensive solutions. In particular, focusing on investing in infrastructure, supporting people to apply science and technology, building concentrated production areas based on VietGAP, GlobalGAP... In addition, the district also regularly organizes training classes, seminars, transfers technical advances to people, and encourages businesses and cooperatives to invest in product processing and preservation to enhance the value.
