Early November 22, Bau Bang district held a seminar on socio-economic development for the period of 2020-2025, with a vision to 2030.
Currently, the district's economic structure is oriented towards industrialization, services and agriculture. The district’s value of industrial production and construction is estimated at growing by 20.24%. The district’s total retail sales revenue of goods and services is expected to increase by 25.25% annually. The district’s agricultural production value is estimated at reaching the average annual growth of 5.05%. To date, all six communes in the district have achieved advanced new-style rural standards, with one commune in the process of finalizing its dossier for recognition as a model new-style rural commune.
