Early July 4, the Executive Board of Bau Bang district’s 12th Party Committee held its 23rd open session.
According to a report presented at the meeting, in the first six months of the year, the district’s industrial production value was over VND12.76 trillion, an increase of 17.6% compared to the same period in 2023. The district’s total retail sales revenue of goods and services was over VND 5.66 trillion, an increase of 19.4% compared to the same period in 2023. The district’s agricultural production value was over VND 1.11 trillion, an increase of 3.37% compared to the same period in 2023. The district took regular care of and promptly addressed policies for policy beneficiary families, revolutionary contributors and social protection beneficiaries. The district also introduced jobs for 1,783 workers. In addition, the district’s education and healthcare were improved with cultural, artistic and sports activities getting diverse; national defense and security ensured. On this occasion, the Standing Board of the district’s Party Committee approved the election results for three members of the district’s Party Standing Committee for the 2020-2025 tenure, namely Vo Van Truong, Head of the district’s Party Committee's Organization Commission; Tran Tuan Anh, Head of the district’s Party Committee’s Propaganda-Education Commission cum Director of the district’s Political Center and Nguyen Huu Luan, Secretary of Lai Uyen township’s Party Committee. Additionally, decisions were issued to appoint two new members to the Exceutive Board of the district’s Party Committee for the 2020-2025 tenure, including Vo Thi My Loan, Deputy Head of the district’s Party Committee's Organization Commission and Le Si Quan, Political Officer of the district’s Military Command.
