Bau Bang strives to get over 3,342 hectares of farming land by 2020

Under the Resolution of the 11th local Party congress for the 2015-2020 tenure, Bau Bang district has so far expanded the Bau Bang Industrial Park (IP) by 1,000 hectares and the Tan Binh IP by 352.5 hectares.

In the coming time, the district will also focus on hastening the progress of construction of the 700-hectare Cay Truong IP and the 600-hectare Lai Hung IP approved by the Government. The district is asking to get a policy on expanding the Tan Binh IP by 1,055 hectares. It is expected that till 2020, the district’s area for industrial production will reach more than 3,342 hectares when the expanded Cay Truong, Lai Hung and Tan Binh Ips are operational.

With a goal of gaining the annual growth of industrial production value at 18%-20%, the district will further promote investment into existing Ips, ensure a supply of power for production and business; strengthen a task of calling for investment; regularly make a survey on labor supply and demand to put forward solutions to absorb laborers in association with vocational training at requirements of the local industrial development.
