2019 is the year with decisive significance for the results of the 2015-2020 tenure of Bau Bang district’s Party Committee. Hence, the district’s Party Committee has continued upholding achievements done while focusing on realizing solutions to improve existing shortcomings to be able to fulfill 2019’s targets.

Possible seeing, the district’s industrialization and modernization process took place very quickly over the past time, contributing to absorbing more investment projects. Many enterprises herein also expanded their production-business activities. All helped the district reach high growth over the past time.
Since early this year, the district’s industrial manufacture value has gained more than VND12trillion, up 24%. The district’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services has been estimated at approximately VND3.5trillion, up nearly 26% compared to the corresponding period last year.
In addition, the district has granted 360 business registration certificates to individual business households with total registered capital of more than VND71billion, bringing the total number of individual business households herein to 7,193 with more than VND1.57trillion. The district’s total agricultural production value has also gained VND1.42trillion, up 5% compared to the same period last year.
Such these apart, the district has also continued paying attention to public healthcare; well realized policies on social welfare; maintained the local political security-social order…
Continuing effectively taking solutions
Thanks to the integral efforts by the local authorities at all levels, the district’s socio-economic performance continued obtaining stable development over the past ten years.
For the rest of the year and the following years, the district will continue well realizing a target of stabilizing economy with reasonable growth; enhance the quality of human resources; have more vigorously improvement for education-training, healthcare and culture. The district will also continue well realizing the local target on poverty reduction, improving the lives of the local people…
Le Khac Tri, Chairman of the district’s People’s Committee said that the district will implement some major solutions for the above-mentioned tasks, including further carrying out preferential policies, luring more investment projects; promoting projects in the priority list, minimizing projects that are labor-intensive and at the risk of environmental pollution and those outside industrial parks.
Moreover, the district will promote services; call for socialization in building markets, trade centers…The district has also given priority to large-scale projects with industries in line with the provincial and local development plans; restricted the development of industrial manufacture outside industrial parks, compounds.
The district will also innovate the process of dealing with procedures pertaining to investment agreement to absorb additional industries as oriented; bend on in-depth industrial development; selectively draw investment projects; promote auxiliary industries, projects with new technologies…in the coming time.
Possibly seeing, with drastically taking solutions, the district’s economy in 2019 has continued reaching stable growth. The district is striving to fulfill and surpass the set plans, thereby improving the lives of the local people.
It is known that along with infrastructure investment to lure more investors, the district has planned to develop additional 1,300 hectares of land for industrial manufacture in 2 communes of Lai Hung and Cay Truong under provincial plan on the adjustment of industrial park development to 2020 approved by the Government. The district has also facilitated enterprises’ development while submitting a project on expanding Tan Binh industrial park by 1,055 hectares in 2 communes of Tan Hung and Hung Hoa into the competence authority for approval.
