The way to the center of the Bau Bang Urban and Industrial Park
Le Khac Tri, Chairman of Bau Bang district’s People’s Committee said that under the Program on sustainable industrial development for 2016-2020 period, the district zoned and developed 987.38 hectares of industrial land between 2015 and 2017. Particularly, the district expanded the Bau Bang Industrial Park (IP) by 1,000 hectares, the Tan Binh IP by 352.5 hectares. The district’s industrial production value during the 2015-2017 period surged 16.54%.
Along with taking tasks, solutions on improving investment attraction in a synchronous way for the period of 2016-2020, the district has regularly organized dialogues with businesses, helping remove their obstacles; boosted administrative reform and called for businesses to make investment in the local Ips. As of late 2017, the whole district absorbed additional 336 domestic and FDI projects, bringing the total number of investment projects herein to 511 capitalized at more than US$333.4million and more than VND24.97trillion.
State budget collection exceeding the plan
Together with boosting investment attraction, Bau Bang district has attached special importance to State budget collection. The district’s total State budget revenue in the period of 2015-2017 was estimated at more than VND2.22trillion with the annual growth of 18.84%. In 2017 alone, the figure was more than VND750.15billion or 147% of the province’s plan and 134.12% of the district’s People’s Council’s plan.
According to Mr.Tri, the above results not only came from the regular and timely instruction of the district’s Party Standing Committee, People’s Council Standing Committee, People’s Committee, but also from synchronous coordination of sectors and localities in the district.
