An impressive figure
Becamex IDC’s leaders and collectives are always aware of their responsibility for local socio-economic development. As such, the company’s goals not only create profits but eye sustainable development for the province, contributing to the Southern key economic zone and the country’s common growth. Upholding its spearhead, in the past year, Becamex IDC and its branches reaped VND6,427bil in turnover, VND1,778bil in profit and paid VND498.3bil to the state budget.

For investment attraction, in 2010 despite the global economic recession’s impacts, Becamex IDC in cooperation with central and local agencies held many international seminars to spread local image and trademark to the world. As a result, the company lured 27 projects with the total investment capital of US$114mil. This result has lifted the total projects managed by Becamex IDC up to 848 projects capitalized at US$7.13bil. This is a crucial driving force helping the locality develop stably and fostering Binh Duong into an economic hub in the country.
Besides, in the past year Bac Ninh industrial park project, invested by Becamex IDC, completed nearly 75% of site clearance. There are 30 projects worth $300mil signed to invest in the IP. Meanwhile, the 1,700ha Hai Phong IP project also invested by the company has lured 12 investment projects.
For urban rejuvenation, Becamex IDC has conducted projects at Thu Dau Mot town and Thuan An town. They include Becamex City Center, Viet-Sing re-settlement area, Eastern International General Hospital.
Launching projects in time
Among projects invested by the company, Binh Duong industry-service-urban complex is considered as the most important project. The development of the complex has created an attraction for local investment climate. Especially, through the complex, trademark of Binh Duong is highlighted in the international arena.
Inside the complex, Binh Duong New City project is one of crucial goals of Becamex IDC. Since the city’s ground-breaking ceremony in April, 2010, key projects have been launched synchronously. They include the provincial Politic-Administrative Center, Eastern Int’l University, TDC Plaza, Aroma, Int’l exhibition center…
The company’s leaders specify that Binh Duong New City hub is a nuclear for the province’s development. Therefore, the company leaders have paid special attention to inter-regional routes.
With the done results, Becamex IDC’s strategic projects have affirmed the company’s motive force role. It is hoped that Becamex IDC will excel its proposed plans in 2011.
