The provincial Transport Department vice chairman Dam Trong Cuong said that Binh Duong’s public traffic project of new means was prepared from 2013 under the instruction of the provincial People’s Committee. Accordingly, Becamex Tokyu Bus project named “New means for the new city” will operate from Thu Dau Mot city center to the provincial Administration Area from 5 a.m to 22 p.m with the time of 10-15 minutes per trip on peak hours and 25-30/trip on ordinary hours.

Becamex Tokyu Bus Company general director Furukawa Takashi said that along with requirements of safety, buses must be checked, maintained as stipulated. Drivers must take charge of checking safety and ensuring hygiene inside and outside of buses.
In order to offer favorable conditions for people, since its inaugural day till the end of this month, the company will not collect bus ticket money. Meanwhile, the provincial People's Committee will also grant month bus tickets for cadres, public servants working at Binh Duong New city. This good deed is to save costs and minimize individual transport means.
To gain efficiency and attract many people to use public transport means as well as minimize traffic congestion, Becamex IDC spends a land fund to build bus stations and bus shelters to cater for passengers.
In addition, Becamex IDC assists students and pupils of Eastern International University, Ngo Thoi Nhiem primary and secondary school and Nguyen Khuyen high school to help them get accustomed to traveling by bus.
