Mr. Shuji Hirata stated that Becamex Tokyu has focused on key projects aimed at creating a new ecosystem for living and working environments, attracting investment and developing impressive urban infrastructure. These efforts have actively contributed to accelerating the implementation and development of the Binh Duong Smart City project. He expressed his hope that the province will facilitate the joint venture's study and feasibility assessment for a light rail transit (LRT) line in Thu Dau Mot (TDM) city in the coming time.
Mr. Thanh emphasized that the LRT system is one of the Transit-oriented development (TOD) public trafffic fields that Binh Duong province is particularly focused on. This project aims at gradually completing and establishing a traffic network to meet the travel needs of urban residents. The province will assign provincial Department of Transport to act as the focal point, coordinating with Becamex Tokyu to conduct the pre-feasibility study for the proposed LRT line in TDM city.
