Since early this year, the town has also implemented a lot of works upgrading the local systems on water drainage, public lighting, verdure…; seriously handled pavement encroachment cases, ensuring traffic safety; made synchronous investment for pavement and verdure systems of streets, namely 2-9, Phu An-An Tay…and parks.
Le Ngoc Bang Chau, Vice-Chairwoman of My Phuoc ward’s People’s Committee said that My Phuoc is the socio-economic and cultural and administrative center of the town with fast growth in terms of industrial production. The ward’s urban and traffic infrastructure system now reaches vigorous development at the local people’s demand for traveling and economic development. Till now, there have been 100% of the local households in use of the national power grid… The town has also actively promoted a movement of planting green trees among locals towards a green, clean and nice living environment.
In general, the town has reached strong advances in terms of urban rejuvenation and order. The town will also continue rechecking and promoting this task in the coming time. Huynh Thu Lap, Vice-Chairman of the town’s People’s Committee said that the town has step by step brought urban rejuvenation and management into depth, which is seen as an important task in the process of perfecting infrastructure works on the roadmap of the province’s urban development. The town will strive to become a third-class city by 2020.
Mr.Lap also affirmed that the town’s projects on traffic infrastructure must have synchronous investment with water drainage systems. The town will also boost propaganda, raising public awareness of keeping environmental hygiene and joining hands to build up a city without waste…
