In 2016, Ben Cat town’s Party Committee has set targets of further maintaining socio-political stability, effectively mobilizing sources and striving to reach higher growth than 2015. The town’s economic structure will be developed with 82.33% in industrial manufacture, 17.12% in services and 0.55% in agricultural production. The town will attach special importance to developing hi-tech based agricultural production models with high added value, contributing to bringing a great source of revenue to the local State budget. In Q1 2016, VND9.1bln was disbursed for infrastructure works in the town. Regarding trade-services, the town regularly controlled over the prices of commodities, well ensured the local supply-demand balance; granted business registration certificates to 380 households with a total capital of VND95.6bln.
Nguyen Van Cuong, Chairman of Tan Dinh ward’s People’s Committee said that after the town’s 11th Party congress, the ward has quickly implemented the Resolution of the congress. Accordingly, the ward has launched emulation movements in production and business among locals. The ward has so far attracted 48 foreign and domestic enterprises that have worked very effectively, greatly contributing to the local socio-economic development. Further improving investment climate
Ben Cat town is concentrating on upholding the strength of the entire political system, contributing to fulfilling a target of becoming a district under Binh Duong city by 2020. According to leaders of the town, in the coming time, the town will further remove difficulties in production-business, creating the foundation for the local sustainable development; continue perfecting socio-economic infrastructure, promoting the local urban and services development; ensure social welfare, improving locals’ spiritual and material lives…
Such these apart, the town will actively build up a favorable investment climate, uphold the local advantages after the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement (TPP) takes effect. The town will be also proactive to mobilize authorities at all levels and sectors to well realize the local project on new rural construction. Especially, the town will strive to have An Tay and An Dien communes recognized as new-style rural ones in 2016 while attaching special importance to urban rejuvenation as planned.
Nguyen Hong Khanh, Secretary of Ben Cat town’s Party Committee said that in order to fulfill the above mentioned tasks, the town will concentrate on effectively taking policies and measures to improve the local investment climate and competitive ability while actively helping businesses remove their difficulties and facilitate their production-business activities.
